Eric Wenick is focused on strategic advisory and deal execution across the firm’s business lines. He joined MHT Partners in 2001 and was a founding member of the firm.  While at MHT, Eric has formed and managed five investment partnerships and closed transactions with approximately a dozen leading private equity firms, including The Carlyle Group, Providence Equity Partners, J.H. Whitney, Charlesbank Capital Partners, Sentinel Capital Partners, Polaris Venture Partners and Harbourvest.  Prior to joining MHT Partners, Eric was an investment banker at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he served clients in the renewable energy, regulated utilities and independent power industries. He also was a founding partner of Serra Partners, a strategic advisory firm based in Menlo Park, CA, that served venture-backed technology companies.

Eric has an MBA from Stanford Business School and graduated from Yale University with a BA in Economics and Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry.  He is a founding member of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area board of Positive Coaching Alliance, a national non-profit organization that trains youth and high school coaches to teach life lessons and cultivate student athletes who strive to improve themselves and their teammates on and off the field of play.

Eric lives in Dallas with his wife and four children.
