MHT’s multi-disciplinary team examines industries both strategically and financially to identify attractive acquisition candidates and can then execute on an acquisition plan ranging from a single-company purchase to a multi-company buy-and-build strategy. An MHT Partners acquisition assignment typically includes:
- Strategy Development. Leveraging the experiences of team members with backgrounds in strategic consulting from firms such as McKinsey & Company, Bain and Company and the Boston Consulting Group, our team works with our client management teams to develop a comprehensive strategy prior to launching any acquisition efforts.
- Target Identification. MHT identifies specific acquisition candidates that fit within our clients’ strategies through the extensive use of internal and external resources.
- Transaction Execution. MHT initiates the acquisition process by contacting acquisition candidates to generate interest in a transaction with the client. Ultimately, we attempt to drive transactions to completion on terms that fit both the client’s and the target’s financial and strategic objectives.
- Integration Planning. MHT works with clients to evaluate the infrastructure and management required to successfully integrate acquisitions and develop a robust M&A strategy.
