Tom Burgett

Tom Burgett is focused on providing advisory and transaction execution services to technology-enabled education, healthcare services and software or software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies. With MHT, his efforts have included assignments for Revenue Cycle Solutions, Edline, Archipelago Learning (NASDAQ: ARCL), Central Power Products (Shuttlewagon), Heritage Partners/Frozsun Holdings, Providence Equity Partners/Study Island and Charlesbank Capital Partners/Zenith Products, among others. Prior to joining MHT Partners, he was with Lincoln International LLC, a middle market investment banking firm based in Chicago, IL. Tom was also an investment banker at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. where he developed expertise in public and private corporate finance, M&A and financial advisory. His past experience includes assignments in the telecommunications, business services and consumer goods industries.

Tom holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from Southern Methodist University, summa cum laude, with a BBA in Finance and Organizational Behavior and Business Policy.  He currently serves as a member of the Livestrong Young Leaders Cancer Council and as a member of the Dallas/Ft. Worth ACG Chapter’s ACG Cup committee.  He has also previously served on various discussion panels and advisory boards in the education industry, including EdNet 2011.

Tom lives in Dallas with his wife and two daughters.
